Helms Tactical Defense provides professional firearms instruction for civilians, concealed carriers, competitive shooters, law enforcement professionals. Training is designed to meet students at their current skill level and develop repeatable performance through purposeful practice.
HTD emphasizes safe gun handling, strong fundamentals, efficient technique and the ability to execute those skills when time and pressure increase.

Where is training held?
Primary training is conducted at an outdoor range in Marshville, North Carolina. Exact instructions are provided when your session is confirmed.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Training is available for first-time shooters through experienced competitive and professional shooters.
What should I bring?
Requirements vary by course. Eye and ear protection are required; ammunition requirements and course-specific gear are provided before your session.
What is the cancellation policy?
Training fees are non-refundable. Eligible cancellations may receive session credit; range-cancelled courses may be refunded or credited.
